Antje Herbig

Following academic training in hotel management and communications, her professional career included work in the international luxury hotel and tourism industries. She was also active in the fields of marketing and PR for various renowned businesses. She has been part of the team at Kafka Kommunikation as PR assistant since May 2010.

Cathrin Wohlfarth

Cathrin Wohlfarth is a graduate of the University of Salzburg, where she majored in communication sciences. She also attended classes in communications policy, media economy and communicate/society and participated in several seminars on the topic of public relations. Not content to go without a foreign sojourn, she went to Holland in August 2012 to spend a semester there learning about the conception of PR campaigns. After gaining theoretical knowledge, she acquired additional practical experience at a PR agency Munich. While still at university, she worked in her parents’ business and sold individually printed packaging and advertising articles.

As part of the team at Kafka Kommunikation, she worked on behalf of clients in the consumer area since September 2014.

Dorothee Ruhl

Since 2005 Dorothee Ruhl is the mastermind behind all clippings and reportings.With Eagle's eyes she is screening all magazines, newspapers, business media and all other relevant publications, which are important for our consulting clients. Since the Social media age has started, her night shifts have increased dramatically. Without her, we would not been able to demonstrate at the end of each month what we have achieved for the companies we work for. If she is not compiling clipping reports, she is taking care of her kids Franziska and Moritz. Dorothee lives with hers family in Düsseldorf.

Ferdinand Kunz

The holder of a university degree in political science, Ferdinand Kunz provides additional important support for Kafka Kommunikation’s IT team. Before commencing his academic studies, Kunz’s passionate interest in Europe, international relationships and especially Eastern Europe had already prompted him to travel extensively. He nonetheless continued to uphold his Swabian values, assiduously gaining on-the-job experience in the consulting and IT fields prior to and during his years at the university, thereby financing his academic studies. Starting in Heilbronn, he circumnavigated the globe with stops in Mannheim, Canada, Estonia, the western Balkans and southern Denmark, before arriving in Munich, where in November 2014 he gladly and vivaciously accepted the new challenge of supporting the agency’s team in the specialized field of IT security. Ferdinand enjoys playing soccer in his leisure hours. And whenever he can find the time, he also loves to cook for his family and friends.

Julia Fehrle

A native of Stuttgart, Julia Fehrle has supported the team at Kafka Kommunikation in the consumer area since June 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia, where she concentrated in literature, culture, media and art history. She then traveled farther south to Tübingen, where she earned her master’s degree in media science. She gained on-the-job editorial experience as a trainee and freelancer at Stuttgart’s city magazine “Lift” and afterwards at SWR. In cooperation with Südwestrundfunk and in the context of her final academic project, she developed a trans-media communications concept for the TV series “Die Kirche bleibt im Dorf,” which included journalistically prepared reportages as well as applications for the social-media channels and the homepage.
