A native of Stuttgart, Julia Fehrle has supported the team at Kafka Kommunikation in the consumer area since June 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Siegen in North Rhine-Westphalia, where she concentrated in literature, culture, media and art history. She then traveled farther south to Tübingen, where she earned her master’s degree in media science. She gained on-the-job editorial experience as a trainee and freelancer at Stuttgart’s city magazine “Lift” and afterwards at SWR. In cooperation with Südwestrundfunk and in the context of her final academic project, she developed a trans-media communications concept for the TV series “Die Kirche bleibt im Dorf,” which included journalistically prepared reportages as well as applications for the social-media channels and the homepage.
